So far, we have looked like we are sleep walking.
That happens in baseball all the time. Even to the #1 team. UCLA brain farted a couple times early in their schedule. I fully remember the Bruins in 2013. They won the CWS in 2 games straight with a .266 team batting average. They had what they needed though in 3 rotation shut down pitchers. This year, it appears they have similar pitching PLUS...a power hitting lineup. Their leadoff hitter while not scary at the plate, has blazing speed. All he has to do is get on base any way he can. If does get on base, you can bet he will cross the plate rather soon. They were good in 2013, they're great this year. IMO, I'm penciling them in all the way to the CWS finals. The only question is who will have the strong enough team to stop them. I don't think we'll know until after the 3rd or 4th conference series for most teams. Bruins host a decent Michigan team this weekend and we travel to Fayetteville. Will be interesting to see who takes care of business.

We’ve got guys on the right and left side that are capable of wearing down whoever is on the mound. It’s just a matter of them seeing enough pitches.

Pitching wise I like our rotation and I hope they are all consistent 6+ inning guys. We have a capable group in the bullpen but they all seem to function better with short leashes.

They’re a real good team. But if we see them again I think we can beat them.
