There’s plenty of excitement surrounding the return of Mississippi State football, but the hottest topic of the summer among Bulldog fans has been what will be on the side of the helmet. Fans of a more classic look got some good news on Thursday, Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk discuss that after listening to what athletic director Zac Selmon had to say about it at SportsTalk Mississippi’s Not Fall Camp stop in Starkville.

It’s literally all we have to look forward to this year. Please just make it happen. After your interview with Selmon it feels like maybe we’ll have the game with Tennessee with the white MSU, but then how bad *** would it be if we came out later in the year unannounced with maroon MSU and kept it as our permanent

So Tennessee wears white Helmets, why not wear Maroon Helmet against them.

If we dont dump the banner M and go with State script the administration just doesn't care what the fans want. Helmets and jerseys isn't enough. Off the building, the end zones, everywhere. Wait wait....now that we got that done I meant to say interlocking. Yeah...thats what we want. Not once either. Every game, just once is unacceptable.

Black out is good. We should only use State Script or the MSU interlocking on the helmets.
Every jersey should just say "STATE" across the chest.
