Well the only thing going on in the US is baseball and a few NBA playoff games.
Good. Ticket and concession prices are/were getting out of control. Teams have monetized almost every aspect of going to a game, for those of us who just enjoy sports it's nice to gain some ground back.
Buy 2-dollar seat tickets and in the 4th inning move down to the 200-dollar seat tickets.
He’s probably just someone that would prefer to watch Fox or CNN News all day.
I'm not sure I believe the data, but if it's true, I would guess a big part of it is that there are just more options in general, sports and otherwise.
Just got an email from Vivid Seats that the NFL has rolled back prices for the 2025 season by 10%. So that lower section is now only $910 per ticket. At that price they will probably fly out the door! But, If that's too rich for your middle class family there's always the upper crow's nest seats at $100 a pop.
And they are dropping prices because demand has been shrinking. Maybe it's the economy since the NFL still has a strong product. Not so much with college sports overall.
It's true and while this is a slow time in the sports calendar, it is down from last year during this time as well.

State has premium seats still available. I don't remember State not selling all their inventory of premium seats in the priority time frame.
I go for fair and balanced. Thank you very much. They also fit with my more middle class lifestyle.
