More than 7,000 Mississippi State students made their way to the Bryan Athletic Building Ticket Office or the temporary ticket area in the Student Union Monday to set an all-time, one-day record for football student season tickets sold. By mid-day Thursday, we had sold more than 10,000 student tickets, leaving less than 1,000 available still 10 days prior to kickoff.

With that turnout, we have now sold 39,495 football season tickets and will likely reach our goal of 40,000-plus for the 2009 season. We literally have less than 1,500 season tickets that we can sell as we enter the final week of pre-season.

It's not too late to still purchase season tickets for the 2009 campaign. Season tickets may be purchased through our athletic web site - www.mstateathletics.com/tickets - or by calling the ticket office (1-888-GO-DAWGS).
