Just found out a curious little tidbit about our future home games against the Tide. As we all know, last years game sucked due to so many Bamers being inour stands. From what I've been told from the ath. dept., we give andreceive equal ticket numbers to SEC teams. On average, it amounts to a 5,000 seat swap.
I wasn't aware that Bama got a 7,500 ticket swap, the most that we will do with any SEC team. They have always bought all 7.500 tickets from us, but we have probably never gotten over 3,000 with our alottment to Bryant-Denny and the rest are sent back to T-town. Next year, that will change.
We will put them back down to 5,000 and that will be equal to most of the teams we play. Add to that increased season ticket sales/increased enrollment/pretty good scheduling for next year and it will be harder for those red necks to come in to our house without paying a steep price from scalpers.
