I will be taking my kids to their first husker game against purdue. We will he coming from mt and to get 5 tickets is pretty slim. If we sit in section 21 row 40 will the pillars block our view? It shows no obstruction on stub hub? Also is stubhub the best place to get them? Tia

If you can wait, on the Monday of Game week, call the good folks at Husker Hounds (84th street store) and get on the list for tickets. People in the Omaha area who have extras take them to Husker Hounds and they sell them (always face value ... no scalp zone) on a first come first serve basis. Given the state of our program the past few years there were ALWAYS tons of tickets available there; matter of fact after a while they stopped taking any more tickets on certain weeks as they were just not moving. Might be a little tighter this year with Frost here now, but I have gotten GREAT seats there often ... always worth a try first before you pay premium prices. Good luck.

I think you might have some pillars in your way at row 40.

If your kids are still pretty young maybe consider up top on the east side. Super easy getting in and out. Easy bathroom/concession access. Seats actually have back rests. Good luck!

According to my map, there are no post. In either upper or lower sections.

Thanks everyone so far. The upper section can you see the field very well? I have never sat up there personally but back rests sound pretty good for the few minutes we will be sitting down.

I think it's a great view personally if you like being able to see the play develope. It is pretty high though so to each there own.

Seats are a little bigger up there too.

Row 40 is the pillar row in the West stadium. Would not been in front of you but could be to your side . Don’t think they would be site obstructed.

Take my word for it: the pillars are in row 39 both sides of the stadium. If you're in row 40 there might be one right in front of you. If you're lucky, you're half way between 2 pillars and you just need to lean forward a little to see. Section 600 is great, but for the kids first game, section 21 is more impressive (directly across from the band, nice view of the Husker bench across the field, etc.).

Sat up there for a spring game a few years ago. Absolutely loved for the reasons you list.

I have two groups up there and absolutely love it. Escalators up and down, great view, backrest spacious seating and close, easy to get to concessions and restrooms.

Would they have to say obstructed view on stub hub? Some tickets have it others dont just curious if sellers lie about that often? Thanks again everyone

Not sure what the requirements are for re-sellers. We used to use a place called TicketExpress (I think it's in Omaha) and they always noted "Obstructed View" for the seats in row 40 and above. Other re-sellers may not.
Just found a link for them. https://www.ticketexpress.com/Event...kers-at-Nebraska-Cornhuskers-Football-Tickets
