Have you been living under a rock the last 5-10 years? There is NO WAY the media and the internet lets go of this. If Eldrick goes into hiding and continues to dodge it, he will be bombarded by questions in Augusta. His only prayer there is that the stuffed shirts at Augusta threaten to ban any reporter who asks him about it, which would in turn set off a s--tstorm over the first amendment.

Die down???? I don't think so.

We're talking about the same people who laughed in the face of gender discrimination. I doubt they give a ****.

"Hey, it's Tiger," he says in the voicemail, obtained by Usmagazine.com (listen above). "I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that. Just have it as a number on the voicemail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye."</p>

Imus even read a text message this woman claims she has over 100 of from Tiger. One said something to the effect 'Go to the bathroom and do something dirty and send me a picture'. And it was not some funny made up crap by him, from the same source as the audio clip. Just now on CNBC they read a statement off his website apologizing for his actions and basically admitting he has screwed up.

Oh well.....that's all for now from my gossip sources. ;)

Tiger hates the media and this will just push him away from the PGA for a while if not forever. He can just play money games on the side... No way in hell he can compete at the level he has been playing with this new media circus. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Tiger is from the cloth of guys like Jordan.. anytime the media got on MJ's back (ie his gambling), he just came out with a vengeance to shut everyone up.. I'm thinking this whole episode guarantees two majors next year.

If the media starts with this crap, he will quickly end any interview and he will blackball that outlet from any further questions. I don't think any of the CBS, NBC, ESPN networks will want this to happen. He will push them out, not the other way around.
