His left knee is all but done. Tiger had to withdraw yesterday after firing a 42 on his first 9 holes. He has had 4 surgeries on that left knee since college, and it is still bothering him. I am so glad that Jack's records will stand while the classless, whoring, Tiger falls apart, literally.... Today is a great day for Golf...

Jack's record is safe. Wouldn't surprise me to see Tiger retire in a couple of years once he's convinced his knee is not fixable.

And by "transform", I don't mean a few small tweaks like he has done in the past. There are a lot of long hitters in the game, but Tiger's swing is one of the very few that is downright violent off the tee. The amount of pressure and torque that he puts on the left side of his body is incredible. I don't know what he can do to stop that, but I agree that if he continues like this, he will be forced to stop playing before too long.

If he does end up bowing out soon, Tiger will go down as one of the monumental collapses in all of sports history. To be able to point to one incident like that and to think about the gap between where he was before that incident and what he turned into afterwards has to be unprecedented.

I know zilch about the mechanics of a golf swing. But 5 straight wins from 2007-2008...and 7 straight froom 2006 to 2007. I don't get why anyone would want to have to relearn a swing after success like that.</p>

When he swung the club he put so much torque on his back that the told him that he could not swing like that forever.

Why he changed the swing that won him 4 straight majors I really don't know. Something with putting too much stress on his knees or back? He's just crazy OCD about his mechanics.

I really think he did and I do believe it helped him win alot of tournaments and money. He just isn't the same guy and it isn't because he is heartbroken from loosing that fine wife of his.

hate for a guy who had one major screwup from the folks who evidently have never made a major mistake in their life.

Also, if you think that he was only good because he possibly "juiced" up earlier in his career you evidently know about as much about golf as I do about quantum physics.

People love to hate him because he is compared to Jack so much, which isnt' fair. Tiger is a great golfer. Jack is one of a kind and there is no one who can touch him for his consistency and longevity in the sport.

unfortunately none of them involved so many women. wouldn't have done it if i was married and had kids. so somehow i would have had to screw up by having that many women. maybe i could have been a BYU student who had way too much premarital sex.

He got caught and was brought out publically for being a ****. I am quite sure he isn't the only one to screw around on that level either, but he still gets thrown under the bus at every opportunity.

As for you, I am quite sure you are hunting to much to even try to match up to Tiger's escapades. Me... I am too 17ing old.

he screwed. I simply think he cheated and is in the same category with Bonds, Giambi, etc. etc. I am pretty sure Jack probably wasn't an angel, most young men ontour probably sowed some wild oatsbut I am pretty sure Jack never cheated in golf. You are correct, I suck at quantum physics!

The reason Tiger is being crucified now is b/c he was such a prick and a_hole when he was winning. Sure there are always those who are going to hate on the top dog, but with Tiger, there are many more that are relishing in his misery now b/c of the way he acted when he was winning.

As for his cheating, there are plenty out there who cheat, but none that I know who have made millions off a fantasy creation of being Mr. Perfect. Right or wrong, Tiger's team and the media portrayed him as the saviour who did everything perfectly and Tiger and his sponsors made a ton of money off of the false portrayal. When that perfect image was proven to be the total opposite, the backlash was intensified.

I have never been a Tiger fan b/c of his attitude and behaviour as it pertained to golf, but I have always respected his golfing ability.

Golf has this "code" that differs from other sports. If he played any other sport and pumped his fist or yelled an expletive, no one would give a ****. The cheating... wel I would like to think I would be able to just say no if I was making hundreds of millions a year and having world-class, model-level poontang chasing me at every turn.

The biggest problem I have with it all is that everyone out there discounts his ability to golf because of the "juice" and womens. When he was winning before it was his puter and irons that made him something to watch. Yes, he could knock it further down the course than most of the rest of the field, but you don't finish putting the ball in the cup with your 17ing driver either.

I am sure some day in the future this will all pass on by, kinda like Mickelson. Mickleson was considered the prick of the golfing world to the point that it was well known the Don Johnson character on Tin Cup was fashioned after Lefty. Now, he is loved by everyone.

I know I am in the minority here so I will drop it after this post and consider myself in that 90% group of posters on the board.

Exactly, Golf is a gentlemen's sport and Tiger is anything but a gentleman on and off the course. That also goes for his caddie..

I seriously doubt it, Tiger has taken an Epic Fall and he will be remembered for it. The Media won't let him forget, they built him up and now they are bringing him down. Phil is one of the nicest guys out there, he will sign every autograph and even go out of his way to make sure all the fans, especially kids get one. Tiger has always been an *** and is even more so after his fall from grace. He doesn't want to be bothered, got to much *** to bang..
