Exactly and he is #1 on the money lost and #1 in the WGR too. Like Lebron never has a cold night or Miggy Cabrera never has a mini slump. Bad round is just that. A round of golf. No trend here. Nothing to see. Rory bitched out in the middle of a round because he was playing like hot garbage and then later blamed it on a tooth ache. Did Tiger ***** out like that today?

Don't like Tiger at all but you're right. He's not the Tiger if old. But it's really not fair to expect him to be. Right now, he's the best player on the tour. Even if he's not in a class by himself like he used to be.

Can anyone post his avg driving distance and fairways hit % from each of his seasons on tour? I'm convinced it's his decline in distance and lack of control of the tee that is the biggest reason for the gap closing on Tiger. I think he's become a better putter though. When Tiger first started he was #1 or #2 in driving distance with only John Daly close or ahead of him. Right now he is ranked #33 and looks to be driving it 10-15 yards less on avg then he used to. He uses the 3wood way more now so that's a huge reason for that I'm guessing unless they throw those out of calculations. He is ranked #126 in driving accuracy. That is 17ing terrible. He only hits the fairway 58% of the time. I'm pretty sure I can beat that. Ha!

He is ranked #3 in putting and #7 in save %. That's where Tiger is so great. He has an incredible short game. He has to get much much better of the tee to get back to his peak days. If he did that with his improved short game you could see an even more dominant Tiger Woods than ever before. That's kinda like hoping that Mike Tyson was his old self after prison or Tim Lincecum got his 96 mph fastball back. Looks doubtful right now but if anyone can do it it's Tiger Woods. After we watched Tiger win the US Open with a torn acl and a fractured bone in his leg that included a 20 hole playoff can we really doubt that the man can get "it" back? I'm certainly not going to doubt him. Any other golfer yes, Tiger Woods no.

Man did you jinx his ***....good job

"There are bad days at the office, there are terrible days, and then there are days like Tiger Woods had on Saturday: all-time worsts.
In his career, Woods had never shot a 44 over nine holes, and yet that's exactly what he did on his first nine on Saturday at the Memorial. It dropped him all the way into last place, a particularly galling spot at a tournament he was widely expected to win just by showing up."

Right about what? You posted tiger was back when he was shooting 80 at memorial

Point was his focus is not on memorial. He was two weeks away from us open and the memorial was not his focus. Sounds like he was also fighting elbow injury then too. He couldn't putt all week at merion. That is when tiger is tiger. It's all about the flat stick.
