Oscar Smith pounded out 15 hits to earn a key Monitor-Merrimac Conference win over Kecoughtan. Mitchell Grawey drove in five runs on three hits and leadoff hitter Daniel Quan [pictured below] scored three runs on three hits while adding three RBI. Pitcher Kody Comparto threw innings to pick up the win.

The Tigers led only 3-2 after three innings but they broke through with 11 runs over the final two innings to invoke the 10-run mercy rule.

Every Tiger starter reached base with a hit. Thomas Packert added two hits and he had the Tigers only extra-base hit with a RBI double in the 4th inning. Packert, Wyatt Cantrell and Andrew Poirier drove in two runs each. Comparto also had two hits to go along with two walks including one with the bases loaded.
