As Brando thinks, It’s unlikely that this two superconferences and everyone else relegated theory is just something being pushed. But it isn’t reality yet, maybe never. But money is going to drive schools from conference to conference, and certain collections of schools will likely get more revenue from this or that media outlet. It’s always been that the lowest paid confernce gets broken up. Well the PAC and the ACC have been the lowest paid ( per school) conferences. ACC shills lied about this for a decade, but it remains true and they can’t hide from it anymore. PAC fans pushed the idea that their conference was superior to the BIG 12, but that has been proven false over and over. The destruction they hoped for the BIG 12 schools is upon them now. Because, they were always worth less To media partners. So now some of them are going to go the way of USF, UConn etc. Left behind. In the PAC it’s like they know it— they are trying really hard to get the BIG 12 to absorb the entire conference if you read the articles, all the while pretending still they have some upper hand over the BIG 12 Or that conference is stable even though schools are actively seeking to exit. But that phony narrative isn’t going to pay them SEC or Big Ten money or Keep some schools from leaving.
