...and it certainly subject to debate. To my thinking, it means the following:

1) Homegrown talent (High schools, JUCOs, etc)
2) Competitive landscape in recruiting (For us, 'Bama, LSU, UT, Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, etc.)
3) University attractiveness to target recruit in academics and lifestyle, in addition to athletics (perhaps the largest set of "x-factors")
