And, by the way, deep down in their marrow, every Jets fan KNOWS Tebow is going to be terrific on New England.

I apologize in advance for getting this thread locked, but we have better things to do, anyway, like celebrating our ticket to Omaha. I hardly ever weigh in on the political threads but I saw this somewhere and it struck me as poignant.

How much of this is Belichick saying "Tebow's Career is over when I say it's over..."

I love it myself. All these nay sayers think they know absolutely everything on Yahoo News and ESPN, and it never ceases to please me when they get proven wrong. He's Christian, conservative, Southern, white, and male. The political correct America tells him he's supposed to tuck his tail and be ashamed of these facts, but he's not, and I admire him for it. In time he will develop into a stellar NFL QB in the same manner that Steve Young and Aaron Rodgers did because the guy is talented and has the drive to do whatever it takes to succeed. The Patriots are a great organization that will know how to develop Tim and get him some playing time when the situation arises while he learns on the sidelines. Good for you Tim Tebow on not quitting on your dreams, just because we live in a world full of know-it-all skeptics.

FINALLY he is in a good situation

I'm happy for him because Bellicheck will actually utilize him and he can learn from Brady. Sort of like Steve Young when he was behind Joe Montana- except Walsh couldn't figure out quite how to use both of them at the same time, although I think deep down he wanted to try to use both in the same game in some way shape or form.

Tebow will learn a good bit from Brady, plus they have some of his old teammates like Aaron Hernandez with him.

Yep. That's the one team that will be able to handle the media and fan distractions that Tebow brings. Nobody will be screaming for him to be the starting QB with Brady there. And you can bet Belicheck brought him in with a plan for how to use him best.

Probably not a bad thing to have Tebow praying for you. ** Will be interesting to see how Belicheck handles this.
