I would like to see him do great, but it wouldn't bother me if he did terrible. I just think the guy should be given a realistic chance. He is no Peyton Manning by any means, but it took even Peyton a couple of years to adjust to the NFL. Just because he is struggling now doesn't mean that he can't become a good quarterback. Or he may never be a good quarterback and fall off the map. Either way, nothing can be said for sure right now. I think Denver might as well finish out the year with him, good or bad. If he does good, then they are not really in a bad situation when the draft comes. If he doesn't, then they will likely be in a good position to pick up a decent quarterback in the draft, or trade for one. Of course, this is assuming they have made the decision that Kyle Orton is not and will not be the guy.
In short, I don't care how he does, I just would like to see him given a real chance to do well and then be evaluated.

he has a different skill set. He's so damn physical that he brings a something else on how teams should gameplan. I don't see the 3 mentioned above running it in for the 2 point conversion. Of course - they wouldn't have had to do a late game comeback.
but not sure he will in this system. I think he could develop if the right staff coaches him. Case in point, Glanville had Brett Favre as a 3rd string QB in Atlanta for 2 years. Traded him to Green Bay, where Holmgren then molded him into a HoF QB. I just don't think Fox knows how to utilize Tebow and coach him into being better. Won't be surprised if he gets traded to some team that can develop his skills better.

Joking aside, why pull against the guy? Whether you're a christian or not, he is a good role model in a world of bad ones. He plays the game the way its supposed to be played, is a model teammate, and is fun to watch for better or for worse. I can see NOT pulling for him, but I don't understand going out of your way to pull agaisnt him (unless its a hatred for UF kinda deal). He doesn't make annoying facial expressions orcarry himself with arrogancelike Newton, is quick to defer praise to his teammates etc.

I don't see why people blast Tebow saying he is not and will never be an elite QB. I agree that the guy will probably never be an elite QB. But seriously, how many elite QBs are out there? Rodgers, Brees, Manning, and Brady is about it. These ESPN folks and others that are blasting Tebow compare him and want him to be one of those people or he is a failure. You don't have to be one of those people to be a good quarterback. A great example of this is Trent Dilfer himself. He was not a very talented QB, but he played well within his limitations and led his team to a Super Bowl victory. That is a good QB and something that Tebow may be able to do in the future, or maybe not because that is yet to be determined.

So far, Tebow has not done any better or worse than his counterpart Colt McCoy, yet nobody hears about how McCoy is not an elite quarterback 1000 times a day. I am just sick of hearing the radio and television guys slam Tebow every chance they get because it is the "cool" thing to do. Cowherd loves to do this, and then blow Tony Romo every chance he gets, even after a masterful choke job.
