Some of you people kill me. Either y'all are just now starting to follow baseball after our run last year and don't know **** about it or you are just sad, negative losers in everyday life. We haven't even got to the sec schedule yet and you're writing off the season. I'm sure you wanted Mullen fired after we Oklahoma State too.

This is the 4th consecutive year of woe-is-me sky-is-falling nonsense out of the Sixpack Idiot Squad. Cohen made you all look like clueless morons in 2011, 2012, and 2013, but you just can't learn and are letting him do it again in 2014. I'm sure he'll get to do it in 2015 too.

The blue sky fellas must not have seen the games today. I've watched every pitch on that awful live feed and we are not good at the plate. Nola may put up a no-no.

You all need to calm down. I have complete faith in Cohen. We will get in a good groove. Got a different team this year and things will jell sooner or later. Cohen is putting different line ups out there to figure it out before sec play.

You're probably right, but I remember more "if this team wants to host, it better (fill in the blank)" than "this team sucks!".
SEC play starts in six days. I have faith in Cohen and Butch as well, but we didn't play Cohen bball today. Get runners on base, movie 'em around, scratch out four or five runs...then rely on defense and the bullpen to hold the lead...not working very well with this lineup.
I hope it comes together soon because it's really fun to watch us win.

Because when people say we aren't going to make the NCAA Tournament and then we actually finish 2nd a couple months later, they deserve to be mocked. It was true in 2011, 2012, 2013, and soon it will be true in 2014. And a year from now when the idiot squad is doing this again, I can link to your posts too.
"unless this group can get it together between the ears" seems like a pretty important part of Chew's post. I don't read his post as a bold prediction that we wouldn't make the tournament; just a statement that the team needed to get its **** together to achieve its goals.
This may be my favorite kind of MSU message board post. How dare anyone talk bad or question the almighty baseball team because we had a good run last year. Results be damned.
So far we have lost to Holy Cross TWICE, to Tiger High (while looking like the Bad Newz Bearz in doing it), & we just gave up more runs (6) in 1 game to 1 hitter in an Arizona lineup that just got swept at home by Seton Hall, who only allowed them 5 runs all 17'n weekend. Not to mention we've given up over 30 hits in the 2 games we've played this weekend. And this is supposed to be heart & soul of our team??
But no. All is well because SEC play hasn't even started. I've got a news flash: the 17'n SEC is much damn tougher than the patsies we've played so far, so I'm not sure how that bodes well for us. The season is certainly not over, but hosting a Regional pretty much is. We may go on a run & I hope we do, but you're kidding yourself if you think all is fine & dandy with this year's team. They look more like the 2010 version of MS baseball than the 2013 version.

so Brian do you have any suggestions? Perhaps you should take some time off from Miss State baseball and find something that doesn't aggravate you so much. Life is too short to have such a short fuse. You could actually blow yourself up!
