It's become hard to watch but batting him 9th might be a bit harsh.

I have no problem dropping him to 6th. Frazier, Detz, Pirtle, Rea, CT, Renfroe, Henderson, Porter (DH no matter who is pitching for the rest of life), Slaughter/Ammo
