[QUOTE="Volatility_rivals135605, post: 131487657, member: 1476288"] Yes because decisions based on data are stupid..... ignorant take. The future was not known, did NB "KNOW" his Def would hold UT to 17.... "No", says the genius to the moron. People are upset we are competing, and not appreciative NB has us competing. Considering what he inherited, its miraculous NB has this team in a position to win. Considering DH's worst two recruiting years was 2016 & 2017, both of which are upperclassmen, I think Mahone & Chase B are literally the only players from those classes actually on the field. WVU was the youngest team in all of D1 last year, which still makes them extremely young this year. FACT: Even if Dabo & Staff started last year, it would still take them 5 years+ to get the results we seek. It takes YEARS to build a program from scratch, and the fact we ARE seeing significant improvements this year, speaks volumes. Doege, no matter what people say about his 300 yards, is BARELY serviceable at QB. He consistently misses on the average play, and cant throw the ball farther then 20 yards. Brown is making diamonds from coal right now, and those who are to blind to see it, can go root for Marshall... As long as we are seeing improvements, and he's obviously improving talent levels by kicking *** in recruiting, we must realize Patience is required. If Brown inherited a Senior laden team with Will Grier & company, my expectations would be different, but he didnt even inherit a decent 2nd string backup, with Colton M as the lone exception. While it sucks to lose, those with knee jerk reactions and calling for NB to be fired are low iq, and have absolutely no idea the complexities of managing a successful organization, much less turning one around thats about to sign bankruptcy. UT has the 5th most talented roster IN THE NATION, the highest scoring offense in BIG12, which would support NB decision thinking he would need more then 3pnts....IF....IF his BACKUP FG kicker made it... WVU fans who think we would find a better program builder then NB, should really not watch WVU for the next couple years, cause its a process, a slow at that, so sit back relax, shut the **** up, and let him work. If by the 5th year when the 2020 class are upperclassmen, if we are still experiencing offensive issues, then Ill join you, but until then, lets follow the tradition of "Patience is a virtue"...
