Anyone else notice that not a whole lot of coaching goes on in most of our timeouts? That one 20 sec to close to the end, he seemed to be confused and listening to a couple of the assistant coaches and one of the players for about 15 seconds, the horn blows, then he grabs someone by the jersey and starts hollering stuff as they are going back out on the court. Does he really know what he doing....or wants to do? Seems to call to's at odd times besides that. Probably been mentioned before, but that shite drives me crazy.

But you are right. Signal full timeout to the referees (5 seconds), stroll away from players onto the court (10 seconds), scratch part in hair (5 seconds) appear to be in thought (10 seconds), appear to be listening to assistants (15 seconds), stroll back toward players (10 seconds), find clipboard (5 seconds), stare at clipboard (10 seconds)...and 5 SECONDS LEFT AND......HOOOOOOOOOOOORN!!!!

I can play that scenerio in my head, and that's exactly what he does. What does that tell us? I just have a hard time seeing Callipari, Williams, Coach K, Pittino, etc. doing this.

He did run a nice ball-screen out of one earlier in the game, the same ball-screen we kept doing, the one that Moultrie got hurt on.
Stans should only call timeouts to stop the other teams run and to setup our offense late in the game, never to set up our "defense" which let's the other coach school him time after time... He used one too many last night, and even iced our own free-throw shooter in Bryant...

This is where the game was lost in the 1st half. At the under 8 minute timeout we had a 30-13 lead. In the next 3 minutes, LSU cut it down to 10 at 30-20. Instead of calling a TO to stop the bleeding, Stan's opted to just wait until the under 4 minute media timeout. Only one problem: there was no stoppage of play for another 3 minutes. The under 4 minute media timeout came at the 1:08 mark. So, with Bury's refusal to take a timeout to stop the bleeding, not only did he allow LSU to chip away a huge lead, he allowed our team to get fatigued only scoring 6 points in the final 5 minutes of the half. That **** is just not excusable.
