In other news...Brenen Thompson just made his first NFL reception. A 13 yd pass for a 1st down. He didn't have a catch in week 1.
I feel for the guy because the Titans’ OL is trash for the 6th consecutive year, and he doesn’t have a ton of help, but it’s as clear as day that he ain’t it either.
Not trading the #1 pick last year has easily set them back another 2-3 years, and they’ll probably be on their 4th GM in 5 years after this season
I feel bad about it because I raised my son to be a titans fan, with them being so close. We go to a game every year. He was pumped about them drafting Ward #1... but I said he'd be a bust. He got so mad at me - said I didn't know what I was talking about, lol
The Titans have made a habit of drafting quarterbacks that bust. Vince Young, Marcus Mariota, Jake Locker, Will Levis, now Cam Ward. They needed so much more than just a quarterback. They should’ve traded that top pick for multiple draft picks and signed a free agent QB like Kirk Cousins. But they’re dumb and bought the shiny new quarterback toy again.
The Titans 1st round picks since 2009, and as bad as this is, it really doesn’t get all that much better if you expand the list to Include the first 3 rounds. It’s just horrific
