Don't you risk pissing off some season ticket holders if you hire James Franklin?

Maybe that's why he turned down Texas. He has something working behind the scenes. I think he would be a great pro coach. I like his demeanor. Kind of like a Jeff fox

I live in the Nashville area and yes that would def create a rift in the local sports community. The Titans organization isn't know for bold moves either.

No way Vandy alum could get upset at that move. If anything, the respect they have for him would lead to a larger local support for the pro team. I think it's a great move for Franklin if he's offered. (Which i expect will happen)

I was just talking anyway.
But did Texas even offer the job to him? I didn't think they did

Where are you seeing that Texas ever offered him the job? Strong is a higher profile hire.

They had 2. I attempted to give away a pair of club level and parking passes to the last 2 home games and couldnt find any takers.

So it just wasnt munchak the entire staff was fired(which had our old buddy croom on it) and reason munchak was fired was for not firing some of the Ast. Coachs (most likely bruce mathews) kinda sad i wanted to keep greg williams

The only Titans/oilers coach with any real success told adams to go get 17'd

No shocker there

and went to St. Louis of all places...

no one in their right mind would take a job working for that crazy *** family:

They're creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They're all together ooky,
The Addams Family.

I can't argue whether it would or wouldn't since I know little about their fanbase, but getting mad over that is the same to me as when fans get mad over their own players going pro early. If a guy has an opportunity to better himself, make more money, etc, it's hard to fathom why someone would fault him for taking advantage of that opportunity? Of course, I'm pretending that college football fans are rational

It's too bad about Croom. He's done such an outstanding job with Chris Johnson.

On a more serious note, why the 17 do people keep hiring this clown?
