Titty Dawgs have pretty good draw in the SEC Tournament

Fanning has gotten this team to the NCAAs, but should have won the SEC this year. Instead they finish sixth. Don't believe they should have won the SEC? Here is the top 6

Auburn 12-2
Vanderbilt 10-4
LSU 10-4
Florida 9-5
Tennessee 9-5
MState 8-6

They played like **** and lost to Arkansas at home early in the season, when Arkansas was 0-5 in the conference. Granted, Arkansas ended up 6-8, but it was horrid.
They should have beaten Tennessee in Starkville (and were tied late in Knoxville)
They should have beaten Auburn in Starkville

If they win those three, they finish 11-3, and Auburn finishes 11-3. State wins the tiebreaker.

But in true MState style, should have finished first, but finished sixth.

Taking a look at the draw, MState plays South Carolina in the 6/11 game. State beat USC by 17 last week.
A win pits the Titty Dawgs against LSU, a team that they beat twice this season.
The 2 seed is Vanderbilt, if they hold seed they would be the semifinal opponent. MState beat them by 5 midway through the season.

In fact, MState is 5-1 against their side of the bracket (only loss came to seventh seeded Georgia.

Also of note, for the first time in the history of titty basketball, Tennessee has to play in the opening round of the Titty Tourney. They finished at the 5 seed and get 1-13 Alabama in the opening round, so although they technically did not get a bye ...

MSU did throw away the Arkansas and Tennessee games at home.

However, the ladies could not have played any better against Auburn.

Auburn is about 15 times better than MSU.

Now, this team could have/should have finished second in the league......but nowhere near Auburn's level

We had almost the exact same thing happen 2 years ago. We were the 6 seed going in to play the 11 seed florida who had one SEC win and that was against a winless alabama team and we lost. I dont think we were as talented then as we are now, but it still is very similar. We beat Sc, then we probably play LSU, who we swept, then probably a tennessee team that we played close all year. I think we could make it to the semifinals, but it will be tough because we dont play well come tournament time.

My bad, got my tennessee schools mixed up. We beat Vandy as well, so we have a legit shot at the finals, but I doubt we make it that far. This team will probably mess up before they get there. If we play consistent though, we have a shot at the finals. Vandy and LSU are both good teams. We got the easiest draw I think, so that helps us out some.
