You have a #3 team? Seriously? That's ********.
I have one team. Every other college team in America can go straight to hell. Especially Utah State and UTEP. I'm not blaming New Mexico State and Houston. I normally like to see the underdog win, but I hope Utah State and UTEP lose their first round games by a combined 70
You remind me of this girl in my office. Her #1 team is State, #2 is Florida, #3 is Tennessee, #4 is Texas, etc. At the Florida game she wore a Tebow jersey over a MSU t-shirt.
Oh, and your cousin talking smack about women's basketball - that's really weak.
Wow. Where to begin?
I adopted MTSU as my second team because:
1) My brother went there,
2) I wanted a team in Tennessee to cheer for, and I no longer wanted to cheer for UTK or Vandy, and
3) Another brother lives in Murfreesboro. It's 100x more fun to drive two hours to watch a Blue Raider game with my family than it is to drive six hours to watch a Bulldog game by myself.
They've since moved down to third.
1) I graduated from Mississippi State. I will never cheer for any team to beat Mississippi State.
2) I attend grad school at Chattanooga. I will never cheer for any team to beat Chattanooga, other than Mississippi State.
3) I cheer for Middle Tennessee for the reasons above. I will never cheer for any team to beat Middle Tennessee, other than MSU or UC.
4) Any other game, it depends on the teams, the situation and my mood.
I wore a State shirt to the game in Murfreesboro this year. I'll wear a State shirt on Sunday. I've already been told, "At least you can't lose!" ********. I can lose. And if I do lose, I'll probably be pissed enough that I'll have difficulty cheering for MTSU to win the next game. Yeah. I get pissed over women's basketball. Some people actually care about more than two sports. Shocking.
I've never worn another school's colors to a Mississippi State game. A woman wore a Tebow jersey OVER a State shirt? Sounds like a Florida fan first, to me. I'd have to question the loyalty of anyone who wore a State shirt over a Florida jersey.
An 8-year-old kid thinks it's funny that his team might beat his uncle's team. That's weak?
