Idk I’m kinda torn on him. His production regressed this year and he doesn’t seem like a great shooter. But if he wants to be here I guess let’s get him
I’m so so on Bamba…maybe Popes system will make him better but I’d like to pass on him unless he’s off the bench.

Not a guy I would jump for joy about but would be a good add. Was a big portal guy last year.

He averaged 5.7 PPG less than he did at Washington State. But his shooting splits and other stats were nearly identical to his prior year. He played 28 MPG vs 32 MPG on a team that played at the 347th Kenpom tempo.

Not a star add and maybe not a priority big money add, but a very solid player.

He regressed in a big way last year. Highly doubt he is leaving Villanova to take a backup role at Kentucky (or anywhere else)
No he didn't.
At Nova he played 4 less minutes per game.
Took less shots per game.
2FG% - Nova - 48% WS - 46% - took 3.5 less 2FG shots per game for Nova.
3FG% - Both about the same, 37%, but he took 1 less three per game at Nova.
So not just the 4 less minutes played, but he averaged taking 4.5 less shots per game at Nova. ALL of the other stats pretty much identical, that is hardly regressed. Now if his shooting %'s was lower, I might say that, but they wasn't, was actually higher on 2's.
