Chandler played a very big part in beating Kentucky. It seemed like he was just too quick for the guards to handle when he decided to drive into the lane and score.

Chandler is 1 and done....and a guy we missed on and reverted back to TyTy/Nolan Hickman. SO we took a step back losing on him to Tenn.

Let's be honest....Tn Guards as a whole were a good bit better than ours which was the difference in Ky vs. Tn this year as a whole. Give Barnes credit...he developed Vescovi very nicely over the years and fits nicely with Chandler and they got a steal in Ziegler.

Oh to have a coach who can mix in developed players with high school studs to win for his program...

I think there is a chance he plays his sophomore year since his draft stock has taking a hit for being small. If he was a lock to go inside the top 15 picks of the draft, im sure he would go and wouldn't blame him but if the projections hold true, it might be too big of a gamble to try the league if you're in the mid to late 20s.

Vescovi, Chandler and James are always the ones who we can't stop, those three have their way with us every game, sad but true.

Their guards are better players than our guards. It's really that simple. Chandler is better than anyone we have and Vescovi is a better version of Grady.

Add Plavsic to that list. All though we did a little better in the 2nd half.

The last two outings against UT, the vol guards owned ours. Told my son yesterday if we don't stop Chandler we lose, he took our guards were he wanted to go and we did nothing to alter it. Its called coaching, in that part of the game we are lacking for the most part.

The last two games was a mentality shift. Their guards ate our space and our guards retreated instead of responding. We finally started punching back at the end of the game, but it was too late.

Tyty had the same issue vs Jordan wright, except in that game he hit jumpers to make up for it.

So tyty can expect bullyball coming his way all tournament long. Opposing coaches are crazy not to.
