I live in Alabama and have to listen to the Bamers go on and on about how bad they are going to whoop our ***. In your defense as players, why don't you come over like some of those late 80's teams of Felker and just let thing go early so most of the television audience will tune to another "real" game. I mean, you are going to get embarrassed regardless, so why not just go ahead and get your ***-whooping over in the 1st quarter. Never mind the fact that we have beaten this team for the last 2 years, that was a fluke and I'm sure our whole team believes it! Just put it our of our misery early.
This is Alabama and they honestly believe you don't deserve to carry their jock strap. Why even get your hopes up for an upset. Just load up on the buses; head down 82; be scared to walk into Bryant-Denny and just give up. We, as fans, don't expect any better from what we have viewed this year. I mean, come on, our kicking game has yet to have a touchback. And we don't even want to discuss punting or field goals. And our QB? A walk-on. Please! And Dixon, what do you think Cody will do to you? I don't think he'll be letting you leapfrog over players this year. So do us all a favor and just get it over early so we can let the healing begin. And Peques and Fitzhugh, do you really think you can cover Jones?
As I read today in the Montgomery Advertiser- "I guess you can say we haven't played to our capability," Arenas said. "I think this year, they won't be tough at all because all of our guys have that 'want-to' and that tenacity to go out there and be successful. I don't think that (upset) will happen!"
You see, it's inevitable. Alabama players have had you on their lockers for the last year.
