12 pts in the half with 6 minutes to go. Dude has potential. He just needs to learn how to control the ball down low, L. Roberts style. He has a keen ability to draw the foul, has the size, has the outside game. Don't write him off yet.

He's done some good things, but he's also made several bonehead plays.

But he also comes up big as well. He's a freshman Swervin Ervin. Gary did a bunch of stupid crap, but he also provided a huge needed spark a lot of the time. In later years, he traded in the points made for some more turnovers, but Kodi isn't in this territory yet. He can still become a truly good player if he can learn some control.

him stopping those full-court drive moves as the needed improvement. USC bailed him out a couple of times with fouls, but he could easily have handed the ball to Dee or Barry both times instead of charging 30+ feet at multiple defenders.

he hustled on defense and even passed on a couple of openshots.
