Our offense is literally a walking M.A.S.H unit. But don't let that fact keep you from shoving the knife into Mike Riley's back.

Carry on.
why is it a mash unit?
is there something we could do differently?

I'm 100% behind Riley and this staff but it doesn't excuse them from getting beat this bad which was one of the reasons we let Peelini go.

You can't put lip stick on this one my friend.
I'm really not trying to. We straight up got our face smashed in and that can't be disputed.

Every team has injuries by November. OK, not every team, but most. If you don't, then give thanks.
Yep. And the great teams have good depth or are fortunate to avoid injuries.

Hopefully we build depth along the lines in the next couple years. That is obviously our weakest link right now, and it is the most critical link in being a dominant team. Like someone else posted in another thread, it's like we were on self-imposed probation under the previous staff given our lack of depth along the lines and at LB.

What is this, about 100,000th time you've picked a fight with some "disloyal" faction of the fan base, only to came back here and squeal like a stuck pig about how exhausting it is to argue with all these lesser fans who just don't understand football? Give it a rest, SuperFan.

You know you was particularly unprofessional during the first quarter of the game???

So was Matt Davison actually lobbying for Frost to be NU coach, or is this just the latest episode of your own personal Me-and-Mike-Riley-Versus-the-World soap opera?

It was slash and burn the whole first quarter. If you've ever been on here during a game when things aren't going right you understood what was going on.

On our drive to get the field goal at the beginning of the first quarter Davidson was completely negative. After the attempt was made he called that a win for Ohio State but didn't leave it there. He went on to say that that might as well of been a 4 point swing in their favor. MY GOD MAN! IT 7-3 AND IT'S NOT EVEN HALF WAY THROUGH THE FIRST QUARTER AND HE'S ALREADY KICKING DIRT ON THE GRAVE! I was expecting a voice over to come over at the end of the first quarter saying "This is Scott Frost and I approve this ad".

He was completely right and I agreed with him 100%.

Maybe Davi(d)son felt NU didn't have a chance to hang with Ohio State if they were settling for field goals. I wonder where he got a crazy, far-fetched idea like that?

He's clearly a Riley hater with an agenda, and should go broadcast for a different team!

uhhh yeah, sounds like he was right on the money. We should have scored a TD on that drive. Little did we know Ohio State would then go on a 55-0 run.

He could of just left it with his original statement instead of rubbing it in to the point of cheerleading. I might as well have been listening to the Ohio State Broadcast Network. Maybe you guys don't see a problem with that but I sure do. I expect a little professionalism and not to hear a broadcast member cheerleading our demise so his buddy can get the job. I'm sure Milt was pretty proud of Matt at that moment.

you know what really undermines this staff ... is someone or someones continually insisting that this is a 12-1 team with playoff level talent because when this isn't achieved it appears that the staff has failed miserably and everyone is calling for their heads

thankfully most people realize that said person(s) doesn't really know crap and his views when it comes to Husker football are idiotic

You can say whatever you want but it doesn't change the fact that I thought we had higher character then this.
You mean like running your mouth off about how Matt Davison has a secret agenda to undermine Mike Riley and get his old teammate the HC job? Is that the kind of "high character" you expect from the Nebraska fan base?

It's almost as secret as CNN pushing for Hillary.

I don't remember anyone saying bad things or "shoving the knife" in Riley. Don't remember a thread devouted to Scott Frost either. Riley is a nice man and an OK head football coach- I question his decision to bring all his assistant coaches along for the "last adventure". Pelini HAD to go. I hope Nebraska wins out and wins a good bowl as well- so spare us the "want Nebraska to lose" bit--- I've NEVER Heard or seen a thread like this. My personal opinion is we have to recruit like crazy the big uglies (OL and DL) and maybe tell some non-contributors to go bye bye (includes assistant coaches).

We've got guys redshirting this year that could help but we're past that. The good thing is in our games left we won't face anyone with the Defense's like Wisconsin or Ohio State. So just in that fact alone we should be able to move the ball on the ground better then what we saw against Ohio State.

I hope your right but after watching RB's run straight into OL for 1-2 yard gains I'm very skeptical that they'll move the ball except thru the air...
