such as, was about to have my way with an upset Bama girl after our win in 97 or 98 ( which ever one was in Starkville) but her ride, i.e fat friend was ready to go. Not a great moment but a good moment none the less. Cowbells could be heard everywhere throughout town. fun times

just kiddin'
Best I can remember is driving from Oxford to Starkville Airport to meet the final four team when they got back from Rupp after drinking too much beer and not enough jim beam, and then high-fiving Marcus Bullard, et al, then wrecking on the way back to Hell.

back to Starkville after we beat 'bama for the sec title in '04 and raisin' it with the team at rick's. After an in depth convo with LR about facing off against Okafor in high school (in Houston), LR responds with, "You seen the tapes dawg!?" I had, in fact, not seen the tapes. Great night. There were at least 500 people in rick's, including the entire team.

*** on the MARTA after the Peach Bowl, early 90's. Very disappointing loss for the football team, very satisfying feeling of cowbell hitting head.

losing the game of course, but a great trip I guess since it was our first major bowl in years. Anyway, still remember chants of "Blue Mountain College" some State fans threw UNC's way.

After the last out, I thought the had finally gotten to me because I saw the dude (Frog?) ride by on one of those told timey bikes followed by the ***** stole my fish kid.

Then I saw some morbidly obese dude try to leap off of his trailer onto the field. Unfortunately for him, he didn't quite get enough elevation, and his toes caught the top of the fence and he slammed face first into the chain link fence and was laying at the base of the fence knocked out cold. The paramedics came over to them, and one of them shook them a couple of times and then walked off. So, I figured he was OK.

Actually, there were several people laying around the fence, but I noticed this guy in particular.

Me and a former white football player jumped in that pond behind the bryan building in our undies in front of a line of traffic. In case you are wondering that pond smells like total ****. We did not care though. 17n Great Day

Many people were victim to the fence that day. The scene of that place was one of the best after we finished off Clemson in game 2. Watching the team make laps around the field and giving everyone high fives and everyone storming onto it was one of the best moments I have had as well. I had blisters from ringing my cowbell so much and was red as a lobster but loved every minute. And the best part was getting a phone call telling me we had a hotel for atleast 3 nights in Omaha (which turned out to be all we needed).

Another great moment would be after the Liberty Bowl and seeing the Central Florida guidos walking away without their rushing record and being beaten after a downright boring game(the actual football game was pretty bad but the atmosphere and being in the stands completely erased any negativity for what was going on down on the field).

Going into the stadium- Asking George O'Leary for a reference on my resume.

Pre-game- a UCF fan, who was brandishing a SWORD, yelling "you can't bring cowbells in here". I yelled back- yeah, well you can't bring weapons in here either.

During game after Dixon's TD- Old guy, probably about 70, giving UCF fans the double bird while laughing at them.

Post-game while nearly getting crushed to death on Liberty Bowl concourse where it narrows at one end, a UCF fan, female by the way, telling me that Steve Spurrier is the guy who got cowbells banned.

She didn't look bad at all though, as opposed to the one Costanza said was pretty ugly. A few of the OM Volleyball girls are pretty good looking.

Tall girls are the absolute best.

He had every damn MSU magnet you could possibly fit on a Nissan pathfinder. Our friend had almost killed us going over there. My wife and I were down in the lower part by the band but our 3 friends were in the upper deck. They left right after Wyatt threw that Int. I convinced my wife to stay for the next drive by us. My friends got back to the car about the time we scored. They drove up to the stadium, moved all the barriers and parked about 10 feet from the entrance on the sidewalk. It was hilarious walking out of the stadium and seeing them sitting there with Who Let the Dawgs Out blasting.

doing some kegstands. There was about 80 or so people in and around our apartment at the time but I haven't found anyone who knew who the guy was.

I think the year was 1991. We were playing LSU with Shaquille O'Neal and Company for the SEC championship in the Hump. I had a few to drink. I told my friend that I would dance on the rim of the basketball goal if we won. History was made. The crowd stormed the court. My friend looked at me and said start dancing. I jumped up and grabbed the rim. It was difficult to get up because the rim kept breaking down. Finally, I made it to the top of the goal. Immediately, the campus police were yelling for me to get down. But not before the ESPN camera's were upon me. The police snatched me off the goal and placed me in handcuffs on national television. I was told that I made sports center all night long.

Funny thing is cowbells are pretty effective weapons themselves. I've seen a corndog get beaten to hell and back during an LSU state game.

And I would love to meet that old guy. Any old guy that gives those guidos the double bird is worthy of an award

- After beating Arkansas in '99. Riding the field goal for a while, taking a picture with Brian Hazelwood, and sending my cousins from Arkansas home silent after enduring their trash talk the entire ride to the game. Best game I went to as a child.

- After the 2007 Super Regional. It was MISERABLE hot, and the beer wasn't helping very much. I'd decided in the 7th inning to run on the field if we won, but didn't tell anyone so I wouldn't jinx us (I know, I know). I was belligerent by the 9th, so I sent out a mass text to pretty much everyone in my phone book telling them to watch for me on TV- judging by the responses I got my ability to text was severely impaired but the point got through (though I'm sure some of my ex's were kind of wondering why I texted them- crap). I remember jumping and beating the two guys I was with to the mound, preparing to yell, and then having to stop to catch my breath- DAMN that's a lot further than I remember it being. High-fived Polk and probably every player there, would have a picture with him too but, apparently, we found someone more drunk than us to operate the camera. Oh well.

To the point where someone in the drumline threw their drumstick at me, at which point I promptly reached out and snagged it in midair, to the delight of the Bulldog fans around me, and to my amazement since I had polished off more than a couple of flasks during the game.. still have that drumstick too. Solid night at the stadium all around..
