no i don't agree w/ the pass play on third down but the play should have worked but that guy made a hell of defensive play to bat that down. but if we did not have Mullen we would have not been that close to winning the game. LSU has five star athletes across the board and we have what crxxm left us and "almost" made that work against the number seven team in the nation. I'm sick to my stomach and I'm still in shock of how that game turned out but if we still had crxxm we would have not gotten to the inch line in the first place we probably would have made it to the 40 and did our "go for it punt." I'm not proud of what we did in third in inches situation i think you give it to Dixon 10 out of 10 times but this is the most exciting Mississippi State team i have seen play since Jackie left.

the guy just made a hell of a play. Tyson should have put a little more air under it.

If we had scored there, everyone of the idiots calling for Mullen's head would have said how much of a genius he was for calling it.

Punt return killed us. Second, don't throw the pass play with a 5'10 qb. I don't know how many passes Lee is going to get knocked down before we realize he can't throw over the defensive line. Horrible play calling. I know the argument, but did you see how Ducre was running the first 2 plays of the drive. Why the heck did he not get a chance?

that Mullen was going to have quite a challenge making something out of what he inherited, and that this season was going to be tough. So hey, folks, here we are, in the middle of it. How anyone possibly could say something negative about Mullen at this point just blows my mind. I think our frustration is coming so close to actually winning a game everybody said we had no chance of winning......

That Mullen is able to make something out of nothing, I say, look out in a year or two when he gets his recruits in place..... we should be awesome!

There. I feel better now.

Today, however, still sucks.

Anybody bashing Mullen for "play-calling" on the goal line series is an idiot. The pass play on 3rd down was a good call (receiver was wide open) but Jones made a very good play. The fourth down call was also a good call, except Lee kept the ball when he should have pitched. Veasey tweet says Mullen "wanted to run option on 4d but Tyson saw something else." He obviously saw a lane he thought he could get through but that closed up quickly on him. He pitches the ball and we have an easy TD.

The execution might have been lacking on those two plays but the fault doesn't lie with the play calling.

only part of that game that Mullen coached. He coached us over 4 turnovers, a punt return TD against the #7 team in the country and they act like Croom could have had us there at the goalline. Croom would have been gone from the game from the pick 6.

What it tells me is that we have a lot of fans who really don't know jack **** about football.

If you had told me we were going to be 2-2 and play LSU down to the wire back before the season started I would have said you were smoking crack.

Why is it so necessary to defend the call that played a large part in deciding the Winner and Loser of the game? If Croom had made the same call, what would you say? And don't go into what an idiot Croom is. That's not the point. The point is that Coach Mullen is doing a heckuva a job and doesn't need an army of blind followers defending his every fart. Some of them end up stinking. Deal with it.

Please stop referring to LSU as "the #7 team in the country." They are no more #7 than those pink wearing **** were #4. If they are the 7th best team in the country, then this may be the worst compilation of college football teams ever assembled.

Because some of us think a call that ends up with no pressure on the QB, a wide open TE, and 11 LSU guys who don't even know Green is there because they are all playing the run, is a good call. Why is it so necessary to DESPISE the call? You don't like it fine, get the %#%% over it. Those of us who like it have already explained why. You just too damn dumb to listen. I or anyone else doesn't have to hate a call just because you say so. Deal with it.

You're too dumb or stubborn to see that that play doesn't lose the game, and that another play call doesn't necessarily win the game. The play did what it was supposed to, Lee %$%@!@ up. Deal with it. But I'm sure you are too damn pathetic to see that.

Party on dude.

if someone honestly thinks that we are a better team with relf back there instead of lee, then you need to reconsider your football knowledge. there is not a chance that we are close in this game if relf is in. after relfs first three plays, lsu put their safties in the box and we couldnt do anything. and if you make the argument that he had a big play, then obviously you didnt watch the pass. it was underthrown and not a good spiral. wilder got lucky and made a play, or should i say that lsu just didnt make a play. but i have no problem with leaving lee in there at the goal line. he got us there, let him win it or lose it. but i do agree that if relf is going to play, it needs to be in situations such as right beside the goal line.

Noone is celebrating a loss jackass. Just because I don't think it was a terrible call doesn't mean I'm celebrating a loss. Only you could make that connection. Stop being a dumbass and use your #!++@@% brain.
