We have lost 6 straight series to LSU. Last series win was in 2006 when we were #1 in the country.

terrible we have been under Cohen during the SEC play. Also, LSU dominated us last year in Starkville. This year should have been different...but it's not. Everyone can throw out the injury excuse but we weren't scoring runs with those players in the lineup against much, much worse competition.

The baseball streak wasn't necessarily unexpected given the injury situation.

There were a lot of close wins in games we should have blown teams out. The prediction was made when we had just lost to Georgia and had at LSU, at Auburn, Kentucky, at Bama coming up. The prediction was if we lose to LSU we're going to lose 5 straight. I thought then that if we had any heart at all we'd beat LSU by 15, even on the road, but if we lost to them the season was over.
