To wet blanket these UAB game comparisons....

State was coming off an emotional win over Florida and a 3 game winning streak. A letdown game was somewhat expected.

aGAINST LA Tech, we were coming off 2 straight losses and you would hope for a full effort going into UGA.

Auburn then LSU, but good teams overcome that, and we should have pounded La Tech instead of struggling for a win. With that said, I do think we will play well against UGA...

It isn't an excuse but I think they've had trouble shaking the funk and then losing to LSU.....we were not the same team at La Tech as we were against Memphis.

Everybody looks good against them. Hell, Ark State and SMU pounded them.

They both were not nearly as bad as the reputation their name gives them.

We came off draining games, no matter whether they were wins or losses.

We didnt play our best, but we won.

La Tech is one HELL of alot beter than UAB was last year.

Our defense is lacking some up front leadership

Our line is having trouble keeping DLs out of our backfield which is screwing with the timing of some pretty below average playcalling.

I'll be the first to say it: We need to think about using a 2 qb system for a minute just to see if it 17s with opposing teams.

team took Tennessee into overtime even with missing 5 or 6 field goals. They should of won by 10+. They weren't horrible.

naturally stands to reason they would be after some SEC butt ... yet we didn't look at it that way ..... mix in a little talent with that and we are in for some more preturbing performances
