he was injured his true freshman year, then injured again his redshirt freshman year.

you are asking for a 6th year. I don't think you can ask for a 7th.

the bylaw says you may apply for "an additional" season. you could interpret that either way (only one, one request required per year asked for).

you probably would also have to qualify academically, ie progressing satisfactorily towards a degree, which would be hard to do in your 7th year. i guess he'd have to be in grad school, and i doubt they'd take Parks and Recreation for that one.
