Further goes to show that none of these "recruiting guys" are any closer to knowing **** than all of us. I am so glad I don't waste my money paying people that know nothing more than your average college football fan about recruiting.

Haha, why anyone spends their money to constantly see that idiot whiff on recruits is beyond me.

In other news....way to close out strong Mullen.

Well in SR's defense, he wasn't the only one off base on this one. I read PJ's article from last night and it was all about pros and cons for Johnson on signing with us versus signing with Auburn. He really didn't even seriously mention UGA.

Seems like a very odd situation honestly.

The kid has now said that we is going to Greyshirt to UGA, work on his academics and rehab. Which sounds a bit like he is going to live at home (somewhere around Atlanta) and try to get eligible to play Football. After 2 years of JUCO he still isn't eligible?

Well if he is doing that then he didn't sign with UGA, he just committed...

because if he's greyshirting he can't formally sign until next year's class.

Not far off

It was probably a saving face get by Richt. They lost a ton of recruiting battles this year and the fans here in GA have been bitching about it incessantly. But thats not to say they couldn't use a JUCO DL, they lost their whole defense this year.
