Today its really sinking in

On Saturdays in the Spring/Summer I always listen to Jim Ellis while I work. The idea that we wont play again until 2021 is hard to wrap my head around. No watching the highlights before bed. No Thunder and Lighting recaps on Monday. I know its minor in the grand scheme of things but life without MSU baseball is going to be rough.

It does suck. I guess I’m about to sign up for Disney Plus and Netflix.

I am going back and watching old DVDs that I made of MSU games, watched 2006 MSU vs. Alabama Football game this morning during breakfast. Loved Dixon's hard runs and the pick six by Q. Culbertson...it is filling the void somewhat, but I still miss live current day games.

Same here. When I saw Missouri's thread about "the game" for a whole second I thought that I had dreamed the whole thing. Reality set in immediately & I was deeply saddened* by the surreal world in which we now live this spring summer of 2020.

*For the loss of baseball, but more importantly the threat this damn virus poses.

I think you guys really should start sharing your favorite MSU game videos and features to SPS.

Otherwise, I'm going to get bored with all of the insightful social commentary.

I am really joking when I say this, so please don’t turn this into a flame throwing against me nor this thread, but why oh why could this not have hit in the start of Basketball season. Man it sucks the idea of not having baseball this spring. Damn timing sucks, ha ha....

In all seriousness, I hope and pray this all gets better for our country and the world, and in my heart I feel it will. No matter what we think politically, spiritually, or from an entertainment point of view (I love state, but I know others love Ole Miss, LSU, Bama, etc) we are all, I’m guessing if you read this board, Americans, and more importantly humans on this earth. Let’s get through this as best we can and when it is time, go back to the sports we love and appreciate them more than anyone in my lifetime has ever thought to....

Like w/o sports really stinks...
