doing a good job. It doesnt take 3-4 years to develop an offense like Crooms say. All he has done is feed the sheep ******** so he can keep getting paid. There are no excuses left and anybody buying them is too stupid to live

If he was such a proven commodity, then why wasn't everybody chomping at the bit to hire his ***? He was at navy for years.

Petrino is a "proven commodity" as you say...but he's talking all this rebuilding bullsh*t too.

Great coaches adapt to the talent and personnel at hand...they make the best of it...unlike Croom, Orgeron, Petrino etc. That was his point.

C34 makes a good point. My point was that we made the mistake of hiring a guy with no track record, while GT hired a guy who did a decent job at Navy. Yes, he is a first year coach at GT but there's a sample size at Navy that says he has the ability to come in and do a decent job. Also, JWS proved coming an installing an option attack isn't rocket science.
