has eight teams from the non power leagues listed in the top 25 and those receiving votes. WVU, of course, is now nowhere to be seen as seems to happen as each season rolls on. So, I guess these teams from their "crappy" leagues must be doing it with smoke and mirrors. Wait, maybe they found a way to our recruit or out coach our HC? Worth a ponder.

to be fair, those "crappy" ranked teams don't get beaten like red headed step children every week in the B12

I only see 4 ranked, and many AP voters vote on the basis of feeling teams have earned a ranking with a great record as opposed to actually being better than teams they don't rank.

My bad, I overlooked the "and those receiving votes" when I read it.

Still, that doesn't mean anyone thinks all or even most of those teams would beat us on a neutral field. With Howard QBing, I wouldn't go so far as to say we would go undefeated against those 8, but I think we would have a winning record.
