safe to say a loss and we have zero shot at hosting as it'll drop us all the way to 29, but a win barely moves the needle.
We are rooting heavily against Duke and East Carolina today. If Duke wins we will remain behind them in the RPI. We are also rooting for Alabama to beat SC. I know it doesnt matter but we could pass SC with a win and them losing.. and any mark up the RPI rankings is good for us.
At best today if things go perfect (Duke losing, SC losing)-- We are moving up 3 spots to 19... with a win and no help today we'll climb 1 spot over taking dallas baptist.
an ECU loss today throws a wrench into the entire hosting picture... that loss alone would probably put everyone in the top 22 back into having a real chance at hosting... and even La Tech
