I still feel good about him coming to MSU. My 70/30 prediction still stands.
But- a couple of points:
About him being enrolled- there used to be a rule that said that if you were enrolled in school or had set foot on campus you couldn't sign. Unless you are Kirk Presley. That rule no longer exists.
About batting practice- that's very common for MLB teams to do with their draft picks. The Red Sox did the same with Hunter Renfroe a couple of years ago. I'm sure it sways some players, but it's not always the case.
