Duffy had a real nice pin in the first round

Contrary to some ridiculous rumors, Bachmann is not so conservative.
Borge may be my favorite wrestler we got in that haul. Love his style.
Duffy was up 7 1 at one point has Clinton Sheppard next. Not sure what happen but penn state commit grey burnet was losing 5 4 late in the 3rd but won by dq not sure what happend I was watching paul Kenny's match
Burnett cross faced and they said his opponent bit him so they dq’ed. Was very questionable.
Burnett was looking for the dq right away… it wasn’t one of those situations where it happened and he reacted then the ref made the decision. He basically asked the ref to dq the kid who was astonished by the whole thing. Happened very quick. There was like 20 seconds left in the match

Yeah, I bet he was intentionally trying to bite Burnett when he was 20 seconds away from the biggest win of his life. This ref is either braindead or a PSU fan, wouldn’t shock me if he was both.
What in the world? Keegan Bassett went down to the 28 seed. Did they not get set up with weekend training trips at VT?
Burnett stuck his wrist right in the guys mouth, you see him push it then immediately stop to show the ref. Bogus but brilliant at the same time.
Yeah, I’ve seen something similar before. That is why I don’t like the automatic dq for blood or “indentations”. Why have a ref be that close to the action and not be able to figure out the situation? Truly gaming the system.
it kind of reminds me of Matt Brown winning his title with the quick drop to the mat for locked hands. Although not as slimy as the above, it’s still gaming the rules and if I were the ref I would definitely allow for a tad more reaction time for the guy riding…
Paul Kenny advances to the semis with a 3rd period fall, was leading 11-1 at the time of the fall.
Paul Kenny looks to be a good one. Hope he ends with Burnett in finals.
Isreal Borge advances to semis with a 5-2 decision. Opponent was never really close to scoring a takedown.
Paul and Israel both into the finals with 2-1 wins.
Bobby Duffy wins 7 2 late reversal and back points he will be in the top 6
Bachmann over Rocco Cassioppi 2-1 in tb.
What do you think Joey is weighing right now? Still looks closer to 144 than 150. Either way though its been a great showing for moving up a weight. Can he keep it close with bassett?
He looks small to me as well, don't think anyone can hang with Bassett unfortunately.
Well, Bo Bassett is old enough to be a sophomore in college right now, so he’s got a leg up on the competition in experience and body maturity.
