I say around 1.5 million or a little less. No reason to spend the money if we don't have to.

It's Gus' offense and that is how they have been winning games.

Any chance GB takes a big chance and goes with Malzahn as HC. It would be a risk, but I think the writing is on the wall with this guy, he is an offensive genius. Someone is going to take a chance on him and be successful.

He would need to hire a strong Defensive Coordinator, and a strong staff that could recruit, but I think it would be a gamble that would pay off.

get a really good DC. I think we have better options than going with someone who hasn't been in college but 3? years. He was a high school head coach not long ago. And we are talking about throwing around top 15 in the country money for the right guy. I think we could land Wilson or Mullens for that kind of money.

Tulsa is paying him 1.1M, so we've gotta come up with some compensation plan worth his while.
$100k increase for a winning season
$100k increase for 5+ SEC wins
$150k increase for winning SECW
$150k increase for winning SEC
$100k increase for winning a bowl
$200k increase if it's a BCS bowl

I'd feel better about him if he brough Malzhan OR Applewhite since they both have SEC experience.

He makes $1.1M now and they'd probably up it a little bit to try and keep him. So if he's our guy I see at least $1.7M
