They'll never turn it around to be real competition for recruits again. At least no more than Troy, UAB, & LA Tech are now. The college football landscape is just very different than it was in those days.

He did early. He started at right tackle and played okay but gave up some pressure to Preston Smith a couple of times. He was replaced in the 2nd Quarter by #74 and didn't play again. Not sure if he was hurt or they just went with the other guy. Although he seemed to give up just about as much as Price did.

When the power 5 start paying players USM, troy, etc will never be a threat for a recruit.

almost as cool as my 4 year old getting to high five every player as they ran by the Gridiron Club after the alma mater. Dak even stopped and said "hey I like your shirt", as he noticed my kid's 15 jersey.

My little girl loved that as well... It was nice of some players take a very quick second to acknowledge her while "high fiving". It was a great experience that she she talked about the rest of the night.

My biggest problem is that we went with someone else's passes (who was out of town), so now every other game we go to will be met with "why can't we go down there??"

It really was a great experience, and we were just there for pregame and 4th qtr.
