I hate to hear that. I loved the “Songs For The Daily Planet” album when I was in high school. “Alright Guy” remains a favorite song of mine.

First time I ever heard the term “alt country”.

Oof, hate to hear this. Just a talented, entertaining and positive guy.

I also last saw him at Rick's, sometime in the early to mid 2000's.

There was a lot of smoke yesterday that he’d passed away with loads of comments and posts in social media.

I’d seen Todd perform a few times but not in a few years. I thought about seeing him play at the Princess in Decatur, Alabama, a couple months ago but decided not to because I committed to two separate weekend trips to Georgia & Texas in August and didn’t feel like I could swing a third one to Alabama.

Now I wish I could have gone.

Probably the best example of his supreme comedic storytelling, songwriting and guitar prowess...

"17 Luckenbach, drink with us..."

RIP Miss Virgie, Trog and now Todd...

Damn. I saw him several times in Colorado at folk festivals. Also saw him at Vinyl Music Hall Pensacola in 2020. Really enjoyed his music.

Know the shell dropped him after being too drunk/high to perform…..maybe last year or the year before. Some other issues else where.

Yeah, unfortunately if you carry the sketchy habits of your 20's and 30's well into your 50's it can cause some problems. Life's a *****...
