Todd, talk to me about Dan Garner, Sparkman AL junior catcher that committed today.**
He is a catcher that is going to be a junior this year who played for Dulin's Dodgers out of Memphis. He is a power guy- he led his team in home runs as a sophomore, and he did well in some home run derbies- I think he actually won one, if I'm not mistaken. He is a right handed hitter.
He already has MLB size- he is 6'1" and about 200, and he may be still gowing. Depending on how the new MLB draft culture shapes up, he could very well be a draft pick after his senior year.
I think he will eventually be our catcher once Hunter Renfroe leaves.
