First of all, was I the only one disappointed with Tim Tebow? He's a good player and all, or should I say that he's a good runner, but his passing is below average at best. Now, I knew he had some issues- and yes, his throwing mechanics are funky, but his arm just isn't all that strong. I think he's simply a product of some good skill players like Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez, and his roommate- who impressed me more than Tebow, and some serious media hype. Let me put it this way- I'd hate to see what UF would be with a good throwing QB. I think what I was expecting was something along the lines of what Ricky Williams did in the Cotton Bowl. Heck, I was more impressed with Matt Jones than I was Tebow. I don't know, maybe I should give our defense some more credit- they played very well regardless of whether Tebow is overrated or not. I can't see Tebow being a QB in the NFL in anything other than the Wildcat. As bad as our secondary has been, whenever we got UF in a third and long, I felt pretty good because I didn't think Tebow could convert it, and more often than not, he didn't.

That said, I thought our defense was awesome tonight. Two pick sixes, and basically going blow for blow with UF all night. Kudos to Torbush and his crew. I was pleasantly surprised by the play of the secondary. Banks, Mitchell, Langston, Washington, and Broomfield are a good upgrade over what we had.

Now, Tyson Lee- he is probably a winner in the game of life, but he is a loser as a football player. He can not make plays when they count. OK, yeah, he's a walk-on, and it's not his fault that Croom recruited a long snapper other than a QB, but this is the SEC, and he has to make plays. He hasn't made them all year, and turnovers with Tyson aren't a question of "if" it's "when". It's just painful and frustrating to watch. I don't know how he ranks in the top half of SEC QB's, but it's either a statistical anamoly, or Dan Mullen has done a miraclous job, or a down year for SEC QB's- probably a combination of both. The only guy I would say that Lee is better than at QB is Vandy's QB. It's going to be weird next year and our QB doesn't look like a midget.

And Florida's team- Why do you feel the need to confront Mississippi State during pre game, before the half, and during the Dog Pound Rock? I've watched a lot of football, and pretty much every team jumps up and down. Actually, it's pretty standard for levels of football. Why not just go jump up and down on your side of the field, you know like everyone else instead of acting like it's some gang fight? I just didn't understand that, because it seemed unnecessary.

To Florida "fans"- Do you like your team- the Florida Gators or Tim Tebow more? I ask that because it seemed like some of their "fans" were cheering more for Tebow than their team. Now, don't get me wrong- there are plenty MSU players through the years that I was a fan of- Sleepy, Keefer, JJ, Norwood, Dicenzo, Mike Pizinski, Westerfield, Chris White, Smoot and etc. And there's nothing wrong with rooting for them, but the Tim Tebow stuff was a little, well, cultish. I mean, they were going a little overboard with it- stuff like "Tebow and two!" You should never cheer for a player more than the team, if you proclaim yourself to be a fan of a team. And even if you're not a fan of a certain team, but just to a game to see a certain player, you're not going to openly say retarded things like "Peyton Manning and one!" I mean, seriously. And of course I say "fans" because I'm betting that for at least 60% of the Florida fans at the MSU game, the only time that they have ever set foot in the state of Florida was when they went to the beach in Destin.

Finally to the "Florida fan" in my section that started trash talking with the guy and reaching across and almost knocking over his four year old son and dropping a F bomb after Lee's second "INT TD pass", be thankful that the fine fans of Section C were able to get a policeman there to shut you up before the man put a severe beat down on you that you deserved.
