As mentioned on the B&B show... What will be the Bulldog Club point allotment per ticket this year?

Gold helmets... Here to stay for future Eggbowls?

End zone progress update. Still on schedule?

Who made the call on the Mercedes "timeout of silence"?

ST caching hire... Who makes he call on that?

Can we get better on coming back from timeouts on the radio?

I know that not many people listen to the games on the radio, but I listen to baseball and basketball games on the radio occasionally. Jim Ellis uses the digital stopwatch on his arm to count his "60 seconds" when we go to break. Play has already resumed nearly every time when we get back from commercial. I know this isn't a big issue, but it does seem that we are doing things the old fashioned way in regards to our radio broadcast.

I believe that's wrong b/c I watched the Loyola game Sunday on HailStateTV and they kept their radio feed going through the commercials. There was a producer talking saying "we are going live in 3...2...1" coming back from a commercial.

Thank him for getting us to 4 straight Bowl Games.
Then ask if he thinks we will get that signature win over a ranked team next year?

We now have an 0-15 streak vs ranked teams...

JDD - we have had this problem, and I not exaggerating, for 20 years or more. I absolutely cannot understand what is so difficult about it. I listen to a fair amount of radio broadcasts from around the conference and don't notice this with others like I do with our broadcast. It's high schoolish, amateur production quality and no one seems bothered by it. You could make that statement about our overall broadcast too. It just doesn't measure up to much of the rest of the conference.

Ask him if he ever paid attention to the way Auburn uses their jumbotron. I know he has been to games in Auburn, I just don't know if he ever looks up.

I went to our game their this year, and the Iron Bowl this past weekend. Auburn runs no commercials at all on their jumbotron. During the game, they shrink the HD live feed, and put stats on the sides and bottom of the screen...and those stats have sponsorship ads. They show the replays in full HD, but only after running a graphic that says the replay is sponsored by Sprint/Coke/Tiffin Vans/ whatever. It is beautiful, and I'm sure they are making plenty of revenue off of it.

They should stop playing the intro to "Crazy Train" when the other team is ready to snap the ball, though.

I have a totally honest question for you fishwater99. Once Mullen gets this "signature win over a ranked team" are you going to let it go or are you going to dwell on the next one, then the next one and etc? We all want it, every State fan out there does but Rainman, you can get your underwear somewhere besides Kmart, you gotta let it goooooooo..........

Ok - not sure what happens then but they do have a guy producing the broadcast telling Jim when to come back live.

You don't remember the Stansbury diatribe? Living and dying by the 3-ball, motionless offense, etc.

1. Why didn't ESPN want to do a multiyear deal for the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving? While it was fun to be in Starkville on Thanksgiving, we ended up giving up 2 Saturday SEC games for nothing in return (exposure, I know I know)

2. Do they expect to sell out season tickets next year in the expanded stadium?

3. What specifically are they planning to do to fix the jumbotron situation? With 2 giant ones next season, they could potentially dominate the stadium even more.

4. Will the student section be only in the new seating area, or will it spill over into some of the old seating?

Does Dan plan on hiring a special teams coach next year? And if the answer is "no", then the next question should be "why the 17 not?". ST hurt us all year and almost cost us the Egg.

Ask him to elaborate on the Mullen/Bell/Stricklin conversation at the end of the Arkansas game.

Oh...one more DS: Does the Bulldog Club have a fund specifically designated for augmenting asst coaches salaries? If so, I would love to donate to that fund, and so would others.

You've definitely got to ask him about plans to increase assistant football coaches' salaries.

Reviewing instant replays for turnovers. Do we have coaches in the press box assigned to look at this for Coach Mullen and report to him when necessary?

if he doesn't know has he thought about discussing it with him? If there is a system in place what is it?

Unfortunately, I only made it to one game at Davis Wad this year (The Egg Bowl) and one @ USCe. There seems to be a lack of communication between the Jumbotron and the field. It doesn't seem the best idea to introduce former players on the sideline .5 seconds before we snap the ball on offense. The entire crowd is celebrating the player and ringing their cowbells at a time when our boys need to hear. Is there a way to improve this? Obviously, this can't be done every time, for there are a lot of things, presentations of checks, Rhodes Scholars, etc to squeeze into a game. But the Jumbotron seemed a little counterproductive at times during the Egg Bowl.

Do you believe our approach to NCAA compliance will change in the coming year and if yes, then how?

I want you to ask something about Redmond but I don't think he will answer something so specific.

Is there a change/opening in the game management/producer position? Is there a change/opening in the pa position? I would like to do either or both like I do now.
