OT in SC- get home about 1am- players are tired- makes Thursday a waste as far as prep- has to be a rest day...Prep today, practice- get ready for tomorrow

UPig played on Tuesday- at home...should be prepared and fresh legs

Bost played all 45 mins, Moultrie 42- how much gas are they going to have in the tank vs 40 minutes of press?

****** road team vs tired, heartless team

Maybe we can get it all back together for one more push. I hope Deville's twisted ankle won't be a factor. They'll be able to sleep late Saturday morning and then try to play the game of their lives. Having a packed house wouldn't hurt.</p>

I am not for sure but during that five game skid didn't we either have one starter out or at lest one get hurt during the game and not finish? I think Depth is a issue with most schools unless your KY, NC or Duke. From what I noticed a lot of school basically play with seven guys. The other are just scubs to make up a roster and to have bodies to practice with.

The announcers even mentioned that with our NCAA Tourney hopes on the line, you'd think we would have played with more of a sense of urgency at USC. I think it all goes back to our lack of depth, though. We have to slow everything down on offense, since our guys play so many minutes. I think it drains the players' energy on the offensive end. Especially against the press, when you get across half court and have a 3 on 2, I hate that we NEVER attack the basket. We back it out, let the defense set up, and run 30 seconds off the clock before shooting.

If Deville can't play, we could be in real trouble, with Bost being our only real ballhandler. Hood was still limping at USC, and Steele and Bryant don't need to be bringing the ball up the court.

Assuming we need to win 2 of our next 3 (and knowing we have to win TH to even play 3), then should we lose at ARK, we will have to win TH and FR. There is a much higher likelihood of winning FR if we play anyone besides UK.

That said, if we lose at ARK, we probably have to win the whole damn thing. With our depth, and SINCE WE USE THE THURSDAY-SATURDAY turnaround as an excuse for losing, surely there's no way we can win two games in back-to-back days. And there is NO CHANCE of 3 in 3 days or 4 in 4.

That is the only reason I think we have a good shot at winning this on. But with Hood with a deep brusie, Shaun Smith out with a broken finger, Deville with a twisted ankle and memory loss, Jalen cramping up, Sidney being fat and lazy, and Wendell looking lost when he is in anything can happen.

Arkansas has guards that can drive and get in the paint and plays alot of bodies. We need to play sound perimeter defense and hopefully have some legs left in the second half. I know That is asking alot out of this bunch. Bryant needs another good performance along with Dee and Moultrie
