Once they have the Jumbotron installed and up and working, I hope they'll install a couple of small sets of bleachers in that end zone to sorta, kinda "close it in" - especially now that the "garden" that had been in that end zone has been ripped out. I know there is a serious "anti-bleacher" contingent on here. I, too, don't love 'em either. However, until we get to the point of needing permanent seating, it would be nice to have some seating in both endzones - think it would make the stadium more exciting if there were students/fans at both ends.
Also, after looking at the photos again, it makes me wonder if Byrne may already have some plans in mind for that whole end zone area. The new scoreboard supports will eventually block about 1/3 of the views from the Seal M-Club building. Makes me wonder if they may be looking to eventually rebuild that (perhaps a la MM Roberts?)... That building is actually a seperate building from the field house - was built on "stilts" on top of the Turman Field House. And that field house has to be showing its age - I've heard media members say its a ***** to get in there and do interviews after games because its cramped.

For the life of me, I don't understand why we don't insist on uniform architecture. For the most part, we have one of the prettiest campuses I've seen. But why we put up buildings like Allen hall, the S.S. Hunter Henry, and now this, I don't understand.
Acutally, I believes its adjacent to Shira, rather than a separate building. I guess that design matches the renovations they did to Shira a few years ago....
I guess they are trying to blend it in with the Bryan Building, etc....

Yeah it is ugly as hell - and LT wanted to put it on the SW corner of the stadium, but luckily he was told NO. However, I believe it was the director of campus planning that said the greatest mistake was building Swalm hall similarly to Lee - because it would make the masses want or question why all the buildings are not similar in archeticture. So, as long as people in charge think Swalm was a mistake you will continue to have buildings such as this **** and Hunter Henry built.
I think it looks really cool. It's a bad *** state of the art building. This is not the 19th century when everything was built with brick and marble. This is the 21st century. Architecture has moved on a little bit. Quit pissin and moanin about every little thing. Piss and moan piss and moan. That's all state fans do, piss and moan. And when their team starts losing they leave the stadium, pissing and moaning. I wish they would slip on their piss on the way down the stadium and moan in a pool of their piss at the bottom of the stairs. I am sick of the pissing and moaning. I wish the piss and moaners would just piss in their moan holes and choke. I am ready to move on to the next level. Croom may not be winning us any national championships, but he is bringing us positive attention in the media and getting us to bowl games. Even when we get to a bowl game this year, the piss and moaners will be pissing and moaning that it wasn't enough. I am all about expecting excellence and wanting the best we can achieve, but pissing and moaning about it is not going to achieve anything. The Hunter Henry building is bad ***. The inside is very modern and very well designed. You can't have an entire school look like it is stuck in the Victorian age. Grow up and mature as a bulldog. See that change has to come and people are trying to achieve that change. I think the campus has never looked better then it has now. The similar and differing architecture is a testament to the diversity of our university. We have a foundation in the past, but we are also building on that foundation with new and fresh ideas. All you piss and moaners are from the old school, you add nothing and you leave nothing except an annoying ringing in the ears and a musty smell. Either be a part of the solution or shut up and enjoy what MSU has to offer you.
