suprised at least one of the pre-1997 rotations that included steve avery didn't make the cut. proud to claim autographed balls from smotzie, avery, and maddux.

ETA: the point difference between #2 and #11 is 68.1.... the different between #1 and #2 is 86.6.

Still pisses me off that they never really invested on any decent relief pitchers or hitters. I always thought Smoltz should have been closing for them. Later in his career, he proved he could have been one the best, if not the best, closers of all time. </p>

from the early 70's wasn't on there- Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Pat Dobson, and Dave McNally. All four of them won 20 games in 1971, which is the only time in MLB history that has happened.
