As a fellow lefty, I love all these sweet shooting stroke lefties the staff keeps targeting and often landing.
Who would you consider the best shooters in the class that we have a legit shot at ?
I don’t really here us mentioned with McCoy much at all and Thompson seems to be fading as well.
McCoy seems on the surface to pretty much be all Duke unless someone wants to overspend for him (or maybe hire his dad and grandma as assistant coaches).

Does that suggest that Pope may want to play Dioubate at the 3 more or I am just bored in the summer?
Just a hunch, but I actually think we see a bit more 4 out this year (especially until JQ returns). It gives our offense more looks. And both Mo (on very low volume) and Jelavic shoot a decent percentage from outside the arc and great court vision. Hawthorne might also prove to be hard to keep off the floor too as much buzz is coming out of summer practice which could facilitate moving Mo to the 3 some but with how loaded the backcourt is, the minutes would be hard to find.

If Kam is as good as we’re starting to think he’s gonna be I’d love to get one of those 2. Samuels seems like he’s got a good stroke too and he’s a SF. But if Kam leaves I’d love to get Thompson. Howard or Samuels would be my 2nd and 3rd choices. Also if Mo D or Jelevic leaves I’d love to see Miika Muurinen. 6’11 with really nice touch from 3. We’ll get a shooter from the portal too. But Jasper and Chandler might be those elite 3pt shooters we need.
The best 5 will start. And I mean if Kam is as good as some draft boards are projecting (lotto pick) then no way he’s coming off the bench. And Mo D will most likely start at the 4. Unless Jelevic is just unbelievable or BG takes a stupid step forward. But I could see a world where we go Lowe. Oweh. Kam. Mo. JQ. Then Aberdeen and Jasper playing major mins off the bench with Jelevic and BG and Chandler. I could also see a world where Hawthorne puts on some weight and gets some mins over Chandler.
If Kam is as good as some are making him out to be (top 6 pick) then no way he doesn’t start bro
