I think we are in the middle of a 5-6-7 seed log jam. There’s not much difference in teams in that range (17-28 overall), but the path to the second weekend feels far more realistic for a 5 or 6 seed than a 7 seed, especially this year.
From that standpoint, the OU loss did put a little more pressure on us down the stretch. I think we may need 3 more wins to stay above the 7 seed line. Either finish 3-1 or finish 2-2 and do some good work in Nashville.
